Attendance at the largest Baltic security conference exceeds expected record

Last week, Riga hosted the largest event in the Baltic region dedicated to organisational security, bringing together both local and international professionals, experts and aspiring specialists. "It was to be expected that this year's interest would be higher than in other years, but we did not expect such a difference," the organisers say with satisfaction.
2400 people wanted to attend the Baltic Security Conference 2024 to see and hear 17 prominent organisational security opinion leaders and professionals from 9 countries on 2 large stages, as well as to attend a diverse exhibition, valuable panel discussions and hands-on workshops. The separate themes of the two large stages - "Crisis Management and Safety" and "Occupational Health and Fire Safety " - as well as the carefully selected guest speakers covering all sub-sectors of safety, are cited by most guests and participants as a particular differentiator from other conferences not only in Latvia, but around the world.
The conference organising team and DPA Board Chairman Artūrs Āmars shares his feelings, " When the DPA was established, one of the objectives was defined as "To ensure the transfer of knowledge between security professionals locally and internationally". We believe that this has been a great success and the organisation and size of such an event shows that the industry has the opportunity to develop and build even better cooperation between each other. The event provides an excellent opportunity to learn from experts' experiences and opinions, as well as a variety of innovative security solutions. This is the only comprehensive security event of this scale in the Baltics and we are set to expand the geographical boundaries of this title. To answer many people's questions, yes, of course, we are planning to organise the Baltic Security Conference next year as well."
