Baltic Security Conference General Terms and Conditions for Online Purchase of Electronic Tickets

  1. General information
    1. These General Terms and Conditions for the Online Purchase of Electronic Admission Tickets of Baltic Security Conference Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms and Conditions") set out the general terms and conditions for the online purchase of electronic admission tickets (hereinafter referred to as the "E-ticket") of Baltic Security Conference 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the "BSC26"), which apply to purchasers (hereinafter referred to as the "Purchaser") who purchase BSC26 tickets via the online platform on the website under "Register for the Conference" (hereinafter referred to as the "E-Shop").
    2. the E-ticket sales on the E-Shop shall be provided by SIA "Baltic Security Conference", registration no. 40203509973, registered office at Riga, Graudu iela 68, LV-1058 (hereinafter - SERVICE PROVIDER).
    3. The SERVICE PROVIDER sells entrance tickets to the BSC26 event to be held on 19 March 2026 at the ATTA Centre, Riga, Krasta iela 60 (hereinafter - the Event).
    4. The SERVICE PROVIDER is responsible for the quality of the services, information or advertising provided.
    5. The rights and obligations in connection with the E-tickets and services shall be determined by the SERVICE PROVIDER.
    6. The SERVICE PROVIDER reserves the right to unilaterally amend, correct or supplement the Terms and Conditions. The current version of the Terms and Conditions is available on the SERVICE PROVIDER's website:

    8. The Buyer shall have the opportunity to read these Terms and Conditions before making any purchase, which can be found at the following link: https://balticsecurityconference.lv/en/ticket-terms-and-conditions/
    9. by making payment, the Buyer confirms that he/she has read and agrees to these Terms.
  2. Payment for services
    1. Purchase of e-tickets is made by the Buyer in the E-shop using the links from the Baltic Security Conference website: https://balticsecurityconference.lv/en/register-for-the-conference/
    2. the Purchaser shall purchase E-tickets online in the E-shop by selecting the type of E-tickets, the number of E-tickets and providing the following data:
    3. selecting the status - visitor or exhibitor;
    4. name, email address, telephone, country, security sector, sector, level, organisation; 
    5. the Purchaser shall read these Terms of Use and make the appropriate tick.
    6. the Purchaser may pay for e-tickets by bank payment, selecting the country (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) or card payment (with Visa or MasterCard payment card); after selecting the payment method, the user is transferred to the relevant online banking if bank payment is selected as the payment method or to the card payment view, indicating the relevant card number, security code and card expiry date in the payment basket.
    7. E-ticket prices are subject to change until the Buyer has placed the E-tickets in their shopping basket and made payment.
    8. the SERVICE PROVIDER at the place of service provision - at the Event is entitled to check the purchased E-ticket against the data of the Customer.
    9. one E-ticket can be purchased by one buyer at the same time, each ticket is for an individual user (personalised).
  3. Delivery terms
    1. E-ticket purchase confirmation is sent to the e-mail address provided by the Buyer after the transaction has been completed and payment has been received. The e-ticket in PDF format will be sent to the Purchaser two weeks before the event.
    2. The processing and delivery (dispatch) of e-tickets is provided by SIA "ABC idea", registration No. 40103285126, legal address Andromedas gatve 1-70, Riga, LV-1084, Latvia.
    3. SERVICE PROVIDER accepts no liability for delay or non-delivery if this is due to the Buyer providing an inaccurate email address or non-delivery due to filters on the Buyer's email server or other technical reasons or limitations.
    4. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall not be liable in the event that the E-ticket sent to the Customer from the Customer's e-mail, storage medium or printout becomes available to third parties and is used without the consent of the Customer.
    5. the Purchaser must print out the E-ticket before arriving at the Event venue in order to present it to the Event staff in person or the E-ticket may be presented on a smart device. The Purchaser must ensure that the E-ticket and the E-ticket code are clearly legible and available for presentation before attending the Event and using the services.
    6. if the E-ticket has not been received, the Purchaser must notify SERVICES SUPPLIER by email to [email protected] or by telephone to +371 29996668 on working days from 9:00 to 17:00. If the payment is confirmed and there is a technical failure or other reasons why the Customer has not received the E-ticket, the SERVICE PROVIDER shall ensure that the E-ticket is resent to the Customer's e-mail address.
  4. Responsibility
    1. the SERVICE PROVIDER shall be entitled to restrict access to certain premises during special events without prior notice to the Purchasers. In such cases, the payment for the purchased E-tickets and services shall not be refunded.
    2. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall be entitled to cancel any purchase if it suspects that the transaction may be fraudulent. For such criminal transaction the person may be prosecuted in accordance with the Criminal Law of the Republic of Latvia.
    3. at the time of purchase, the SERVICE PROVIDER does not check the Purchaser's eligibility to make the purchase, does not check the accuracy of the Purchaser's data and is not liable for the consequences of the Purchaser providing incorrect data, including an incorrect e-mail address for the receipt of the E-ticket. 
    4. The Customer undertakes not to interfere with the operation of the E-Shop, including copying, reproduction, publication on other electronic communication sites, as well as downloading information.
    5. By using the E-Shop to purchase E-Tickets, the Customer acknowledges and agrees:
      1. to comply with these Terms of Use;
      2. not to use personal payment cards or access data for other means of payment to pay for E-tickets;
      3. to comply with the terms and conditions set out on each E-ticket.
    6. 5.4 Breach of the Terms of Use shall entitle the SERVICE PROVIDER to temporarily or permanently block the Customer's access to the Event on the E-ticketing website and/or cancel the purchases made.
  5. Right of withdrawal and conditions for return
    1. In accordance with Paragraph 22.12 of the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No 255 of 13 June 2014 "Regulations on Distance Contract", the purchase of Event E-tickets is not subject to the right of withdrawal provided for in the Consumer Rights Protection Act, which allows for withdrawal from the purchased service within 14 days if the E-ticket was purchased through a distance contract (online).
    2. E-tickets purchased will not be returned or exchanged by the Event Organisers, unless the Event is cancelled on the date specified in the E-ticket for which the E-ticket was purchased. 
    3. an E-ticket is valid for the specific Event organised at the time and place indicated. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to arrive on time at the Event.
    4. In the event that the Event is cancelled, the monies for the E-tickets purchased electronically shall be refunded by the SERVICE PROVIDER to the Purchaser no later than within 10 (ten) working days using the same means of payment as the Purchaser used for the original transaction. The SERVICE PROVIDER shall only refund to the Purchaser the face value of the E-tickets and services paid for. No other additional costs, such as transport costs, shall be refunded. 
  6. Other provisions
    1. In the context of the purchase of e-tickets as well as the receipt of services, the processing of the Customer's personal data by the SERVICE PROVIDER shall be carried out in accordance with the data processing rules, which can be viewed here: https://balticsecurityconference.lv/privatuma-politika/
    2. The purchased E-tickets may not be used for commercial purposes, including advertising or marketing campaigns, without the written permission of the SERVICE PROVIDER.
    3. Copying and resale of E-tickets is prohibited.
    4. All disputes arising between the BUYER and the SERVICE PROVIDER shall be settled in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia - in court.
    5. If the BUYER has a complaint about the service received, it shall submit a proper application to the SERVICE PROVIDER, indicating the information identifying the BUYER, as well as the grounds for the application.
