For the fourth year in a row, the Association of Security Professionals (Latvia) is organising the Baltic Security Conference 2025, the largest organisational security event in Latvia and the Baltics. This year it will bring together a record number of exhibitors - more than a hundred companies from around the world, as well as security experts from the Baltics and the Nordic countries.
The theme of this year's conference is "“Business continuity amidst challenges". A total of 12 guests will be speaking at the event, including Olga Bogdanova from Ukraine, President of the European Society of Occupational Safety and Health, who will speak on labour protection, migration issues during armed conflicts, as well as Gints Reinsons, Head of the Civil Protection and Operational Information Department of the City of Riga, who will talk about Riga's readiness to provide shelters to its residents in case of danger, as well as the Head of the Latvian State Border Guard Guntis Pujāts and the Head of the State Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), Colonel Mārtiņš Baltmanis.
The conference will focus on two central stages and will cover security areas such as occupational safety, IT security, fire safety, civil protection and physical technical security and crisis management.
"By organising the conference for the fourth time - initially at the Latvian level, but for the last three years at the Baltic level - we want to bring together Baltic and Northern European security experts and establish Riga as the security hub of Northern Europe. We want to create a basis for communication between security experts and to showcase successful security solutions that have already been implemented in other countries," says Artūrs Āmars, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Security Professionals and organiser of the conference, adding that the exhibition will also provide an opportunity to see the latest security solutions available in the world today.
Exhibitors from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, France, USA, Canada, Germany, Poland, Italy, Ukraine and Australia have already confirmed their participation in the conference.
Admission to the event will be open to all interested parties by registering in advance on the conference website balticsecurityconference.lv. Registration will open in the coming weeks. Simultaneous interpretation between English and Latvian will be provided during the event.
The conference will take place on 20 March 2025 at the ATTA Centre, Krasta iela 60, Riga. For now, interested parties are invited to book a date and keep up to date on the website and social networks – Facebook & LinkedIn.
