Ms. Saarep holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Development from Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) and has completed executive education at Harvard, specializing in Strategy Execution for Public Leadership. With nearly 10 years of professional experience in the public sector, she has developed extensive expertise in labour law and occupational safety and health (OSH) regulations, as well as strategic leadership. Since 2023, Ms. Saarep has served as the Director General of the Labour Inspectorate of Estonia, where she oversees national labour and OSH supervision. Ms. Saarep actively contributes to international policy discussions by representing Estonia in key national and international forums, including the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) and the Senior Labour Inspectors Committee (SLIC).
